👓 Is this your weather frognosis?

Hi Reader!

The weather switched from hot to cold and back in the last few days, and my weather app can barely keep up. So I decided to talk to the real weather experts: frogs! These clever amphibians have a unique way of sensing when a storm is coming. You can even use a special weather instrument to replicate their froggy sixth sense! If you kiss a frog, would it turn into a meteorologist?

Froggy with a chance of ribbits?

Frogs are sometimes a leap ahead of the weather forecast. How do they know when a storm is coming?

3 Ways to Tell Frogs and Toads Apart

The media often portrays frogs as green and toads as brown, but that’s a myth. Both of these amphibians can be a rainbow of colors! A much better clue is the texture of their skin. Frogs are natural swimmers, so they have smooth skin for better hydrodynamics. But toads mostly stay on land, so their skin is bumpy. However, touching a toad won’t give you warts. That’s another media myth!
