Turtle Song

a poem

Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum.

I see a little turtle come.

With stubby legs he moves along

To make a rhythmic turtle song.

Then suddenly, a fox appears!

But Mr. Turtle has no fears.

He tucks himself inside his shell.

And how he does it, I can't tell!

With danger gone, the turtle peeks

At birds and bees and trees and creeks.

I see him go upon his way

Perhaps we'll meet another day!
